Rooibos Milk Tart

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 125 g Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder

Method
 

  1. Grease your pie dish/es well and set your oven to 180°C.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and beat well.
  4. Add the flour and baking powder and mix until the dough comes together.
  5. Roll out the base on a lightly floured surface and then place in your pie dish.
  6. Using a fork, poke holes in the base and bake in the oven for 10-15 mins until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool and in the meantime prepare the filling.
