Method
- Grease your pie dish/es well and set your oven to 180°C.
- Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and beat well.
- Add the flour and baking powder and mix until the dough comes together.
- Roll out the base on a lightly floured surface and then place in your pie dish.
- Using a fork, poke holes in the base and bake in the oven for 10-15 mins until golden brown.
- Allow to cool and in the meantime prepare the filling.
